- Children’s Garden was founded in 1974 by four mothers who wanted a Montessori program for their own children.
- We serve children from 18 months to six years old.
- Our total enrollment is around 90 children, with some children attending in the morning, and others attending in the afternoon.
- The morning primary program is from 8:15 until 11:30. The afternoon primary program is from 12:15 to 2:45.
- Extended primary children attend either of our two primary classes in the morning, have lunch at school, and stay for extended primary until 2:15pm.
- Morning toddlers arrive at 8:30 and stay into 11:15. Afternoon toddlers arrive at 12:15 and stay until 2:45.
- All of our Montessori teachers are either trained by the American Montessori Society, the Association Montessori International, or Montessori Centre Internationale.
- We are affiliated with the American Montessori Society.
- Student teacher ratio for the primary program is 9 to 1. For toddlers the ratio is 5 or 6 to 1.
- We are a non-profit, board-run school.
