Programs

Children’s Garden Montessori programs are led by teams of Montessori educators who have trained either with the American Montessori Society or the Montessori Society Internationale, as well as additional Early Childhood degree and certification programs.

The Toddler program serves children 18 months to 3 years of age. Children attend 2,3 or 5 days weekly in 2 1/2 hour sessions, either 8:30-11:00 AM or 12:30-3:00 PM.

The Primary program serves children aged 3 to 6 years. Children attend Monday-Friday in 3 hours sessions, either 8:15-11:15 AM or 12:15-3:15 PM.

The Extended Primary/Kindergarten class serves children aged 5 to 6 years who have attended Montessori Primary for 2 years previously. Children attend 8:15-2:45.

Zach’s Place Studio is a children’s art and research studio classroom and is shared by all the classes. Our studio and art program is partly inspired by the education philosophy developed in the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, which we believe can enhance a strong Montessori program.

“Your expertise in early childhood development, ability to scaffold the skills of the children, understanding of the importance of sensitive periods and brain development during birth to 6, data tracking to be sure skills aren’t missed…. create such a quality educational experience. We are grateful to have our child learning with you every day!”  CGMS Parent ’21
